Sara Baume at the Goldsmiths Prize 2017 Shortlist Readings

Sara Baume's A Line Made by Walking has been shortlisted for the 2017 Goldsmiths Prize. She and the five other writers shortlisted for the prize will be reading from and discussing their novels at the Ian Gulland Lecture Theatre. Adam Mars-Jones will introduce readings from Sara Baume, as well as Nicola Barker, Kevin Davey, Jon McGregor, Gwendoline Riley & Will Self. The event is free, but booking is required. Book Launch: The Unforeseen

Join us at the Gutter Bookshop for the launch of Dorothy Macardle's The Unforeseen, the spooky follow-up to her classic haunted story, The Uninvited. The Unforeseen is a tale of dark premonitions and violent events in 1930s Dublin. The novel will be introduced by Luke Gibbons, who will speak about the groundbreaking writing, activism and journalism of Dorothy Macardle, with readings by author Elske Rahill. Entry is free, all are welcome, and refreshments will be served.
